July 6th, 2008 - Many more reviews and updates!

Hi there. A lot has been going on lately, and many more reviews have been written in support of "From Sunrise to Sunset". Through being busy, and subsequently very lazy, it has been a while since I've updated the site. After many proddings from the honorable Mr. Mendieta, I have finally sat down and got it over with. So, I am proud to present the new reviews from Proggnosis, Eufonia, Hardsounds.it, and USA Progressive Music on the 'Reviews' page.

Mark has been working with the material for The Culmination. I believe he has uploaded some material to the MySpace page for people to check out. I hope you all like the new songs. We've still got so much to do in support of From Sunrise to Sunset, and The Culmination for that matter, but we're already talking about exciting ideas for the next CD. I may be writing lyrics and doing even thicker guitar work for the next one! We shall see what the future holds..... There is also some more news from Mark:

"Thanks to Troy, from Troy's Room Radio Show from LA, he has emailed me and confirmed that StT will be featured on his 6/24 show.  This is an awesome honor for us.  For our music to be aired through the airwaves of Los Angeles, can only equal more exposure for the band.  For more information, go to www.myspace.com/troysroomradioshow or www.latalkradio.com.  His show airs on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00 pm PST.  Tueday has now come and gone, thanks to Troy for playing "Staring Into the Sky."

It's an honor that our music will be played along the airwaves at www.myspace.com/wicountryradio.  I know some people are going to say "Country?"  Well, I talked to Connie (she runs the station) and she promised me that our music will be played.  She went ahead and told me that she plays all types of music regardless of the station's title.  I hope you go by and hear us out."

March 29th, 2008 - Another Good Review!

Greetings, folks. Brandon here, and I was just informed last night that we've got another great review in support of From Sunrise to Sunset. This time, the review is from www.progscape.com and written by Bill Knispel on March 27th. You can read the full review on our review page.

We made great progress with The Culmination, and I am actually mailing my performances to Mark on Monday. The music is done, and my vocals and guitar solos are all recorded! I had a lot of fun with the recordings for The Culmination, and I personally think they are the best vocals I've ever done, so I really do hope you all like the new music. Of course, Mark's songwriting is also stronger than ever. I believe we're both very proud of the new music and we can't wait for you to hear it.

March 20th, 2008 - The Culmination, And our first music video!

Hello everyone, Mark again.  I just wanted to let all of you know that me and Brandon have been hard at work on our upcoming CD.  Right now, it’s about 90% done.  I’m real happy how this is turning out.  For those of you that enjoyed “From Sunrise to Sunset,”  let me say, that the new album is right on par or even better.  The new CD is entitled “The Culmination,” and this is the final album of my 4 part concept.  What is it about?  That will come at a later time.  What I will say is that the disc contains 11 songs with a running time of over 70 minutes. 

We’ll place a couple of tracks at a later time for your hearing pleasure.  By the way, we have a new review posted.  This one came from www.jerrylucky.com.  Thankfully, it’s a good one.  Go check it out.  Once again, thank all of you for visiting the site, and I hope you enjoy our music.

January 19th, 2008 - New review, and buy the albums!

Hello everyone, this is Mark and I just wanted to thank all of you that have visited the site.  I hope you have enjoyed the music.  Having an official website has always been a dream of mine, thankfully, Brandon was gracious enough to bring it to reality.  Some news to report.  Another new review has finally been posted.  Hopefully you'll enjoy it.  By the way, if anyone wants any of our albums, please feel free to email me, and I'll gladly assist you.  Once again, thank you for taking the time to visit us.  Hopefully, you'll continue to do so.

December 28th, 2007 - Merry Christmas!

Hullo again. We hope you all had a great and merry Christmas! It's a great time of year indeed, when everyone should be with their families and celebrate. I'm not sure about Mark, but I celebrated in my own way. I spent the day before, Christmas night, and the day after working on my own musical projects! Talk about dedication, right?

A new review of From Sunrise To Sunset was written by Tetsu Hamanaka on December 12th, and yes--it is in English! Feel free to read it on the reviews page! Another nice positive review under our belts for From Sunrise To Sunset just makes us feel more joyful and confident about The Culmination!

Now that there is only a brief 2 weeks left before I've got to return to college, the idea of recording the singing for the new Subject To Thoughts CD keeps growing! I work a little every day and fill up a part of each project little by little. The Culmination will most-likely feature me at the top of my instrumental game, yet should also prepare me for the large vocal undertaking that will be on the new Rainwound album! Of course we will continue to keep you updated on all of the StT news!

December 8th, 2007 - Subject To Thoughts official site explores the space!

Greetings, folks! Brandon here, and I'm glad to establish Subject To Thoughts' official site. Mark and I have a lot of great plans for both the site, and the new music, and this site will become a portal into our world of creative expression known as Subject To Thoughts. We've got a nice biography page, and a members page with a bit of information about each of us. 'Music' has a list of all of the releases, plus links to mp3s from various releases. 'Videos' will be the page that I add my future videos to (none at the moment!) including my personal studio footage of vocal and guitar recordings, and perhaps even an attempt at some kind of music video!

It's cool that we've got such positive reviews for From Sunrise To Sunset so far! People really seem to understand, for the most part, where we're coming from with this. It was my first album singing the "lead vocals" with the band, and also playing guitar solos with my mighty wah pedal! Without overstepping my boundaries without consulting Mark as to what I'm allowed to actually publish, I'd just like to say that the follow-up to FStS will be just as epic and emotional... Mark's got most of his parts done, and I haven't even started on mine yet. I'm hoping to do a great job with the vocals, solos, and sounds, to make The Culmination a strong follow-up!
